A metal roof panel drops below dew point overnight, and the moisture in the shop air condenses straight onto the underside, so it rains on whatever is stored below. Closed cell foam sprayed directly to the panel removes the cold surface and stiffens the building at the same time. Bare steel will keep sweating no matter how much ventilation you add to it.
