Texas Energy Foam Company is a Houston insulation contractor. We spray closed cell and open cell foam, install and remove fibreglass, insulate metal buildings and warehouses, and restore commercial roofs, across Houston and the surrounding metro. This page is about how we work, because that is the real difference between insulation companies.
How we ended up doing this
Everyone on this crew has spent time in Houston attics in August. Once you have felt what 140 degrees over a bedroom actually means, and seen a duct system pouring cooled air into that heat, the work explains itself. Most of the buildings in this city were insulated to the minimum of whatever code year they were built in, by the lowest bidder, in a hurry. The gap between that and what a building here actually needs is the gap we work in.
How we work
We inspect before we quote
Nobody on our phones will give you a per square foot price, because a price given before seeing the building is a guess, and guesses get corrected on the invoice. We come out, go into the attic or walk the building, photograph what we find, and put a fixed price in writing: the product, the installed depth, the exact areas, and the schedule.
We tell you when the cheaper option is right
We install both foam and fibreglass, so we have no reason to push you to either. If your ceiling is already air sealed and your ducts are not in the attic, blown fibreglass may be the honest recommendation, and we will make it. If the existing insulation just needs depth rather than replacement, we say that too. The best advertising we have is the job we talked someone out of.
We do the awkward details
Rim joists, top plates, chases, bath fans, attic hatches. Buildings do not leak through the middle of the wall, they leak at the junctions, and sealing those is slower and less visible than spraying an open field of studs. It is also where the performance is. The details are itemised in our scope so you can check them.
We treat your house like an occupied building
Containment at the work area, floor protection on the route, masking over what stays, waste out the same day. On commercial jobs we stage by bay and work around your hours so you are not shut down. See how commercial projects run.
Who you will deal with
Andre Vargas, our sales manager, handles inspections, estimates and scheduling. He is the person who walks your building, writes your scope and answers the phone afterwards. One point of contact from first call to final walkthrough, on (713) 281-9585 or tenergyfoam.av@gmail.com.
What we stand behind
- Fully insured, with certificates shown on request. Texas does not require a state-level license to install spray foam insulation, but we still follow standard business and job-site safety requirements
- Fixed written pricing against a defined scope, so bids can be compared honestly
- Crews in proper protective equipment, with re entry times given in writing
- A walkthrough at the end of every job, with depth and coverage confirmed before we leave
- Answers over sales. Ask us anything on the FAQ page or by phone
Where we work
From our base at 6522 Lozano St in Houston we cover the metro six days a week: Houston proper, Katy, Cypress, Spring, Sugar Land, Tomball, Pasadena and the communities between. Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sundays by appointment.
Talk to us
